This project focused on developing a custom-built carousel slider tailored specifically for Adobe Page Builder in Adobe Commerce (Magento 2).

Designed to improve user engagement and content presentation, the Funky Squids Carousel Slider offers a stylish and flexible way to highlight key e-commerce content, ranging from featured products and special offers to testimonials and portfolio items.

Fully responsive and easy to implement, the slider provides a seamless experience across all devices while allowing full design control within the Page Builder interface.

What I Did

For this project, I designed and developed a versatile carousel module that integrates natively into the Adobe Page Builder environment. Key contributions included the following:

  • Building a custom Page Builder content type with full drag-and-drop functionality

  • Developing a responsive layout for smooth display on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices

  • Allowing each slide to feature a combination of images, titles, descriptions, and custom links

  • Ensuring the module is easy to configure and adapt to any storefront theme

  • Implementing accessibility-friendly attributes and SEO enhancements

  • Creating a flexible admin interface to support client needs and content control
