Powered by renewable energy
This site is hosted with HostPresto, a UK-based host running entirely on renewable electricity.
What that actually means
Many hosts claim to be “green”. Few can back it up. HostPresto is certified by the Green Web Foundation, an independent body that verifies hosting providers are genuinely powered by legitimate renewable sources, not just buying offsets to cover for business as usual.
Their infrastructure runs at high efficiency too, which means less power is consumed per site than a typical traditional host, so it’s not just where the electricity comes from; it’s how much of it gets used in the first place.
They’re also UK-based, with data centres on the south coast, and partnered with Ecologi to fund tree planting and carbon removal projects on top of the renewable hosting itself.
Why this matters for a client site
Where a site is hosted rarely comes up in conversation, but it’s part of the same story as page speed and site weight. A slow site on cheap, overcrowded shared hosting costs you visitors and rankings. A fast site on efficient, renewably-powered infrastructure costs you neither and gives you something genuine to say about your environmental impact if that matters to your customers.
For businesses in hospitality, retail, or any sector where customers are increasingly weighing up who they buy from based on more than price, that’s not nothing.
The short version
This site runs fast, runs clean, and doesn’t cut corners to get there. If you want the same for your business, that’s exactly the kind of build I do.
